Psychology Group Brochure: Childhood Development Theorists
Purpose: To teach the class about a childhood development theorist
Length: 8-10 minute presentation
Due Date: Thursday May 16
Assignment: You must produce a one page (double sided) brochure that highlights your topic. Make sure to use headings and bold font when appropriate and at least one image. It should be a three panel folded brochure. (2 panels can be introduction and back view with bibliography.
Marks: You will be marked on the presentation and the handout. Please see the rubric on the next post.
You must include: A bit about the theorist’s:
-life
-education
-important works
-experiments/studies
-contributions to psychology
-radical findings that differed from others’
-critics
You may use the text, but should also consult outside research.
You may choose from one of the following:
Skinner*-
Harlow-Basil/Isaac
Hollingworth-
Erikson-Androniki, Vincent, Romana
Maslow*-
Piaget-
Ainsworth-
Jung*-
The starred theorists do not dwell on childhood development-you might look at their overall contributions to psychology.
